Re: When the Clock Hands Stall

I believe that the face macros are currently broken. A lot of the constants related to it don't seem even hooked up as I've recently been going through the constants and removing old, redundant, and left overs from mystic searches that aren't used or hooked up and a lot of the fade related constant...

Re: Run Dash Run

Been taking some time lately to work on a game for the contest but did also manage to work a bit casually on RunDashRun and get a new build assembled with a few more levels. Thinking about increasing the player speed a bit or adding a run button as the game feels a bit slow and sluggish currently al...

NESmaker 4.1.5 - Pixel Editor - Zoom Pixels Issue

This is a fairly older issue that's stuck around. So much so that I'm amazed no one has reported it before. Not sure if it's related to screen resolution or not but when working in the pixel editor and zoomed in, often times the right most pixels will be cut off even with the scroll bars set to thei...

Re: Game Over Special Screen

Make your "Game Over" screen... for example here I used the 254th one: https://i.ibb.co/D5Dwzg5/2019-02-13-06-52-06.png In "Project Settings > User Constants", create a new constants named "GAME_OVER_SCREEN", and give it the value of the screen you chose, here "254": https://i.ibb.co/JrCgJy0/2019-0...

Re: When the Clock Hands Stall

can somebody explain how the fudge did you make that cutscene? I've made a whole video showing how I made the cutscenes for another game of mine, The Tower of Turmoil. This game pretty much uses those same techniques, but with scrolling involved. If I had to take a guess and shot in the dark... I'd...

Re: When the Clock Hands Stall

the chrono trigger clock simulator for nes. Im in! :P just kidding, this looks really cool, but it really also works as a teaser, because the screen practically gives no indication whatsoever of what kind of game it is or what is it about. as for the fades, i've started looking into that but im not...

Re: When the Clock Hands Stall

Looking amazing so far. Love the title and start button fade ins, creative use of monster animations you're known for or did you use the built in fader? Either way, looking kickass. The clock also reminds me of the grandfather clock in Maniac Mansion, a game I played and still play way too much of. ...

Re: A Zelda 1 remake?

To All Who Read This Post, I love the Legend Of Zelda, and the NES original is not only my favorite game in the series, but is also, in my opinion, one of the greatest games to ever grace the NES. Which is why I am all the more perplexed at why no one seems to be trying to remake it! Right now, we ...

Re: NESmaker 4.1.5 - UI/UX Improvement - Monster Number Indicator

i support this, if for nothing else, then just for the sake of seeing where you placed your "invisible" monster spawning objects lol Same, in a current platformer I'm using the retractable spike enemy that start off retracted so when I place them down they look the same as the sky tiles. It's not w...

Re: NESmaker 4.1.5 - UI/UX Improvement - Monster Number Indicator

Yeah, I'm talking about an indicator within the tool when you place a monster in the screen layout editor as a reminder as to which of the 4 monster slots that monster belongs to. A tool tip as Dale suggests would also be acceptable. Just some easy and quick way to remind yourself which monster slot...
