Rail shooter like space Harrier or 3D world runner

Firstly, I’m a noob at this. So forgive my ig’nance. Anyone have any idea if nesmaker could do a rail shooter like space Harrier or 3D world runner? I know it’s possible because those games are on the nes/famicom but not sure if there are things that would prevent it in nesmaker such as the mappers....
