Re: Farm game (like Harvest Moon)

How are you going to program objects that react like vegetables growing? I've thought about this before, but I just don't think the software is fully functional to explore this option. We don't even have rpg NES maker yet. In addition to the vegetables question, how are you going to implement the in...

Re: AssignBanks.asm(127): Value out of range.

Hey Dale, thanks for responding. It seems like the max number of texts you can have tops around 176. I don't know if this is unique to my project, or for Nesmaker in general. It's a shame because I have a lot more planned for my story. I had to already take out 22 random text pieces to get the game ...

AssignBanks.asm(127): Value out of range.

Re: [4.1] End of Text Action --> warps

Dale, Thank you for responding. One final question. I have followed all of the steps, but it isnt working for 4.0.11. I am using the Adventure Game module, and I have added the HandleTextBox_openShopWarps.asm There is a default HandleTextBox_openShopWarps.asm inside the NESmaker_4_0_11_Platformula\G...

Re: [4.1] End of Text Action --> warps

No, I apologize for not being specific. When you wanted to warp to screen number 16, you used "Entry 16". I want to keep my entries organized based off the story I am writing, and would rather not have to put warps in random parts. I understand you have to assign the entries in the text groups. What...

Re: [4.1] End of Text Action --> warps

Dale, thanks for creating this thread. Two questions, is there a way to use other text indexes not relative to that particular screen. I'm trying to keep my scripts organized. Second, warping to the underworld. Would that be text #257 if I wanted to go to the first screen?

@dale would this work with your change object/Sprite script? I am assuming not.

This is definitely one of the most impressive games on this forum. Btw I used to play aqworlds. Still get back on occasionally. It is a very good game.

This is a great idea Iridium, and it would give individuals a chance to practice their pixel artwork. It would be nice if your dinosuar was against a white wall, or you could try cropping it with Paint.net
