The Legend of Pi

Post by jsherman » Tue Jul 10, 2018 9:26 pm

Knowing that the full release of NES Maker is less than a month away (YAY!), I didn't want to devote too much time to rebuilding my beloved "Turtle Rescue" game, only to have to start over yet again. This week I am on vacation, and I honestly have only just now watched Joe's new Pi version tutorials. So two days into it, I have a new demo game!

I wanted to see how close the NES Maker could simulate the look and feel of another beloved franchise. It actually holds up very well. I am especially pleased with the behavior of the guards.

So I give you, "The Legend of Pi" :)

And no, this is about as far as I plan to take this learning exercise. In August, "Turtle Rescue" returns!

Hey! Very neat! Wow...pretty impressive actually! If you've ever seen the knock off NES demake of LttP, this crushes it already! So that's validating!
