Shadow: An Adventure In Monochrome..

Post by Redherring32 » Wed Sep 05, 2018 4:38 am

I got my Player Animations fairly well defined,
and I started adding graphics.
Here is a sample picture of what it will be like!

More to come!

I now have a test version available, the cat counter works now thanks to @Cargo
It will count the old guy also so just subtract 1 from the count for now.

If you have any suggestions, or feedback I would love to hear them!

I like it so far. Reminds me of some late 70's arcade games or like early ZX Spectrum games with a dash of inverted Limbo.

Update:
I spent the better part of today drawing and creating some monsters...
These are just a couple of them so as to not spoil the gameplay...
Due to the fact that I prefer to draw by hand first updates will probably be pretty slow...
I intend to release scans of the originals upon game completion...

I have a start screen in place,
and I have numerous additional assets and gameplay elements since the last update.
Also I hope to have enough content for a demo soon!

Thank you if you're actually watching this project!

Well, i've been sidetracked these last few months, but here is the pre-alpha test game.
It's not much but i'm happy with it thus far.

It's a nice start so far. I managed to find 2 cats, although it didn't count them in the hud.

Never did find that color thief though, fell off the edge of the world and into oblivion before I could.

Yeah that's as far as I got,
As for the cats I can't figure out how to make it count them.
I've been heavily delayed in making this game because of work.
