For all of these bug reports, I encourage you to build in the newly issued 3.1.3 (http://austinmckinley.com/8bit/beta.html). This is a brand new BASE folder...start from scratch (although you should know how to easily pull the graphics), and see if you run into the same issues. Follow this tutorial to catch back up, and then move into the new things: https://youtu.be/eHmw8RitQFs Loading old save states may or may not still observe the same issues depending on what they were, but many of the issues have been fixed, and some of the issues that may have been user error have been fixed by the tool itself in this new build, preventing you from doing those things. So this is why I say, until the main stable build is released in August, don't fall in love with anything. This is just learning the interface right now!
So check it out, and I'd be curious to know if this fixes the problem. Oh, plus, now you get to shoot at monsters, and have them shoot back.
