cinematic opening and closing credits

Post by Joe_Cracker » Sat Sep 08, 2018 12:05 am

Look at the opening of Mega Man 2 as an example. We see a city, a building to the side and down below and we are told part of the story of how light created Mega Man and now Wily created 8 of his own and then it starts to rise up until we see Mega Man at the top and the title flashes on the screen.

Right now we can only do 1 screen and that’s it. I like to be more story driven and presentation matters a lot to me and I’m sure everyone else feels the same. Plus a credit sequence because now that even though just 1 person and design a game there can still be more then 1 person 2, 3 or more and if you helped someone make their game you deserve full credit for your work

Cutscenes and more special screens might come in a future version of NESMaker.

In the mean time, you could try to hijack some normal screens to use as cutscenes: http://nesmakers.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=597
