Flipping the "Jump On Kills" bit through ASM

I'm trying to find a way to flip the "Jump On Kills" bit for monsters in one of my scripts, since I want the player to be able to jump on monsters to kill them during said script, but not by default. The problem is, nothing I've tried has worked. Probably just a big oversight from my part but I'd still like some help on this.
