I am using the adventure game module and all my npcs were working, and my most recently placed one isn't talking when i hit B next to him. I can provide more details, but I probably missed something obvious.

First things to check are the NPC box is checked and if you set a bounding box. Good luck!

Different NPCs using the same monster work fine.

On your screen settings, did you select a text group, and that text group has an assigned text message to the appropriate monster slot?
