Monster Lock Not Working 4.1

Is there a common reason monster lock does not work?

I am using 4.1. I made a block, set it to a "monster lock," and put monsters in the room.

However, when I defeat the monsters, the block does not disappear, nor does it become walkable. It doesn't change states at all.

I experimented by using the same screen number as another screen and using a key in that room; that triggers the monster lock in the other room. So, the issue is that killing the monsters isn't activating the trigger. How do I fix this?

Am I missing something obvious?

That's the next thing for me to look at as well. I just identified the same quirk last night, but haven't dug into it yet. I was going to poke around the prior scripts to compare them.

Hi!, in my project ( I don't know if the problem is only in the scrolling module ), the Handle Monster Locks is assigned to BlankScript.asm... so, there is no lock for monsters I think!... I tried to change it to the script located in Basic/System/Handle_CheckForMonsters.asm, but it has some errors that I I'm trying to analise... and solve...
