Don't be stupid like me -- don't ever do the following

After a hard day's work, I finally approached the activity I'd been waiting for all day. I eagerly sat down with NESMaker and the new tutorial video, ready to start building my game.

Wow, that was record time for me. I screwed myself over at the VERY FIRST step.

I was in gear to follow Joe's instructions to the letter. The first thing Joe says to do is bring up the "New" menu and select "Create blank tilesets." So I did that. And lost everything.

See, I'd already created a set of tiles earlier to build the game with, so I wouldn't have to wait to try out the features I really want to mess with (text!) I used the same filename as before, so the tool would sync up. Then I went to that file and found EVERY SINGLE ONE of my tiles was now gone forever, replaced with blanks again.

I'm gonna go have a cry, then return in an hour to see all the amazing games the rest of you have built without me.
