Help playing with projectile code

What I need is a projectile that only goes a set distance and then stops. Ideally too, when it stops, it has a different animation.

Was hoping someone could perhaps send me in the right direction regarding the relevant code. I don't mind tinkering myself, but I just have no idea what the different values mean or represent. I am looking forward to some of the proposed videos that will help explain this stuff to the noobs :)

Did you try to use action steps? (with a timer value then a next action "stopMovement", with a different animation...). Does it work? (didn't try myself, a not home currently, but...I am curious to know)

Oh wow, I didnt even think of that for some reason. My mind was thinking code all the way. Didnt even think of the solutions righr in front of me :) I'll give that a try, thanks!
