FCEUX game.nes file help

Hello all,

I am trying to get the FCEUX program to work as my emulator but I can not find the game.nes file (as mentioned in the tutorials). There are files in the game engine data folder and one is called game.nes but it is a DEB package. I have tried turning off the security/firewalls on my computer and it doesn't seem to download even when I try re-downloading NESMaker completely. It might be my unzip program, what do you use? It might be that I am not removing enough security. I dont know why its not working and could use some help figuring this out or at least a little more in depth explanation.

The file you are searching is "game.nes", in the "GameEngineData".... maybe your don't find it because your windows hide the file extensions (look at the Display Options, and uncheck hide known file extensions)...
If the extensions are hidden, in your "GameEngineData", you might have a "game" file? (it's the "game.nes" rom file)
