Mutiple and Animated Splashscreens

Have a thought on how NESmaker can be improved? We are a small team with limited means, but we'd love to hear your ideas!

Mutiple and Animated Splashscreens

I wonder if it will be possible to add more splashscreen and somehow to animate it. Like, for example, developer logos, animated titlescreen.

Multiple is easy...it can exist now, however it's hard to expose to the front end, exactly. Animated is a whole other beast, as there are a million ways to achieve animation (and definitions for what animation might mean).

I'd thought about doing this using 'game states' like how the start and win screens are displayed. Adding one before the start screen and using a simple countdown timer before setting the start screen game state active and moving on with the code. However I'd been too busy or lazy to investigate and implement it, but as Joe mentioned, I imagine it's easily doable with someone who wants to tinker and monkey around before the start screen is called.

I think I've officially solved this issue (for the most part anyway): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrV7TEDBu4k

Well, it's not a very elegant solution, haha. I'll probably wait until 4.1.0 releases before I go into detail on how it's done, since I'll have to re-write a buch of stuff for that anyway. I'm also still tinkering with this system to make it work a little better.

If you're gonna rewrite the scripting for 4.1.0 hook me up for a free download of the script I so wanna use my new logo so I can display it as I'm the dev of this game and do a capcom styled screen too.
