how to code for shop

hey there gents! thought id inquire again about how to implement a legend of zelda type shop!
im thinking about havin a bizzar of sorts where the player can purchase health and a sword upgrade but i doint know where to start!

I would love Joe make a tutorial video about that. How to make a shop for the adventure module.
 
i would too Dale! im just super excited to see the next update and what that will bring! if anyone can figure it out ive got a few bucks to send through paypal

I've got an idea for how this would work, but I'm waiting for 4.1 and the ability to change AIs and stuff It could be set up that each item has its cost, and when an item is collected a variable triggers that causes the other objects to destroy themselves.
Then when you return to the screen the items are back unless a flag is set.
Shouldn't be too hard, but as said, waiting for 4.1 because I'd code it as an "AI".
