As always... awesome tutorial videos! Love the style of Joe's videos.
Just require a lot of free time (between dayjob and family life... it's quite hard to find free 20min alone, focused on vids)

I Know the feeling. I'm so excited to dig in, and get back to work on my game. :)

enjoying the videos so far, seems mesen's utility will come in handy! thanks for all the hard work getting all this together.
really easy to follow and although it's the fourth time working through tutorials for NESmaker (actually working ahead of them for once haha), seem to still be learning. So far the new release seems much more polished! Asset Groups seems really useful for working on different areas of the map! can't wait to burn through the rest of these and get into the 20 min projects this weekend!

the new paths tutorial it really helps grasp the basics to have a better looking path than the old tutorials haha, thanks for including those! the screen painting tool is a huge improvement too. Asset Groups is awesome, as is collision data and the grid. was there a hotkey/shortcut listing for the screen painter tool?

in setting up 'game objects' being able to select more than a single tile at a time is a game changer! awesome addition, as well as the many other new features here. really excited for these in particular, it's so much faster.

strange thing to note, if you didn't choose the base or adventure module when starting your project (and just hit ok/selected 'NONE' the default) with export & test it begins you... at the tutorial open screen from the video. complete with the square monster Joe made randomly going about, and the player object faces to the right, and the HUD is setup, along with inputs and NPC's. may have forgotten to delete the tutorial there with the re-release of 4.1.0. if you can't figure out why your screens aren't showing up, and you've been wondering why some of the options are different than a few videos, then export and test is giving you a completed tutorial, go to Project>Import Project Module>Base and you should be straightened out without having to start over.
