Drawing Tutorial for Nesmaker

I need tutorial about drawing players, monsters and NPC sprites for nes games.

I want to know what size of sprites will suitable for nes games.

There are multiple videos on this subject on the YouTube channel. Look for the ones about creating assets, the pixel editor and monsters. Some of these videos will be older from last year, but they are still relevant.

Most characters I have seen or worked with are 8x16 sprites, but it’s hard to say, I would say it could depend on the scope of your game or even the type of game genre. If your code is text heavy then you may have to sacrifice some graphics to compensate the memory usage, thus you may have to create smaller sprites, or lose some,or not, I’m not totally sure how nesmaker works for this comment.
