Music Fail: Beating a Dead Horse

So, I have about 25 tracks I made in Famitracker that I want to pick from to import into my NESMaker game. However, they all FAIL to import. NESMaker has a lack luster sound engine. So, most people told me to not use Famitracker special effects, envelopes, etc.

So, I tested something out. I started Famitracker and used the 5 channels (minus the DCPM channel)amd simply made a beat. I then exported the basic beat out of Famitracker and into a txt.file. I then tried to load the music in to my NESMaker project. FAIL. It is a FAIl all around. What is going on? How come it is so hard to load in music? Music for a game is at least half of the game's importance. Joe, how can I import music into NESMaker?

I did was open Famitracker, make a nice beat (no effects or envelopes) and I STILL can't import it into NESMAker???????
What am I doing wrong here??? Someone PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

NESmaker has GGsound, which is a perfectly capable and well-rounded driver. Just about anything practical you can do with famitracker, you can do with GGsound, if you take the time to study how the same results are to be achieved. To put it a bit bluntly: It's up to you to make your soundtrack work.

Please read this document carefully and make sure that your song fully complies both to the driver itself and the conversion script.

Apparently, there are also some conversion differences between the original converter script and the one NESmaker is using. Be sure to also read up on differences here:

As a last resort, if you post your ftm project file, people might just be able to help point some things out.
