How to (kind of) make high quality games with nesm

Hi, world! I am back with another tutorial on nesm.
Today's lesson is on how to (kind of) make high quality, non-pixelated games with nesm!
and no, nesm is only for making 8 bit games. However, in most emulators, (I personally use FCEUX) you can turn on a filter called "hq3x" for a high quality effect! And to show you the power of hq3x, i attached a few screenshots for comparison! Have fun making hq games!

theres all kindas of ways to deal with this.
one that comes to mind is the HDpack feature of mesen, that allows using png textures to replace the default nes graphics.

here's a few screenshots of what i did to shatterhand once upon a time.
