Hello!
I have been watching the latest batch of videos, 20 minute projects, and finally fired up NESMaker to follow along with the Simple Shooter video. I left a comment on the video indicating some shortcomings with regards to the interface and was told to head over here to the forums to make any suggestions. So that's what I'm here to do.
I'm not here to be critical or negative of the application. I was a backer on Kickstarter and think that this can be an amazing tool that could kick start a new era of NES games. There's already been so many new homebrew games in the last few years, with NESMaker there are going to be so many more, which is exciting. (And I'm finding it more and more difficult to call these games "homebrew". There have been some games that are as good or better than official games released back in the 80's and 90's for the NES.)
