Monster placement

SteamBoy

So I’m curious as to why my monster won’t sit flush? Is this normal and will it even matter once I add gravity and set the tile script to have solid behavior? I have one more question as well... looking at the SteamBoy Sprite, will the sprite end up stopping short due to that extra amount of space in front of it or can I treat those two boxes as null tiles? The monster placements can sometimes be off (if there are taller than 2) comparing the the screen design window.

First, make sure to have left 1 pixel free at the bottom of your Monster's bounding box.
Then, you could try placing it at another place (8 pixels upper maybe?).

Also, FrankenGraphics made a fix for that (to make the in-game placements matching the ones in the Screen design):
