Adding More Special Screens

I was wondering how much would be involved in adding more special screens to a game outside the Start and Win screens. I'd like to be able to add a screen that allows players to enter their name and have that be referenced in the game. I can probably handle the name entry, but I was just curious about how much special code or tweaking that would involve. Thanks!
