[SOLVED] Trouble Traveling Between Screens

As the title says, my character is having trouble consistently switching between screens. It works when it wants to, and ALWAYS works from right to left, but left to right seems janky. I'm using 4.1.5, let me know if any of y'all know of a solution or need more info, in the mean time here's a gif of the issue happening:

I was able to solve the problem by going into the player's Object Details and changing "Edge Object Reaction" from "null" to "screen extend", and now he travels between the screens with ease!

Can you show the screen settings and the tile collisions for both screens. Maybe a couple of screen shots.

The only thing that stands out is the screen speed. I think its set to slow as standard.

If you don't get an solution sooner from someone more cabable,.. I'll have a go at building the 2 screens the same to see if I get the same issue.

I presume you're only testing with 2 screens at the moment? And using adventure game module?

I found that sometimes the collision value of the first, very top left tile can do odd things sometimes. No idea why but you can try making it a solid for nothing and see. Check HUD settings too with the tutorial.

I'll have a play around with it if nobody steps in with a solution before I'm next on nesmaker.

Setting the speed back to slow didn't do much, but yeah I'm only testing with 2 screens at the moment. I'm using the base module, could that be causing the issue? Although, now that you mention it, I'm unable to change the collision type of the top left tile... I can change the ones around it, but not the very top left one for some reason.

I'd try starting a new project with the adventure game module. If it won't change collision type, paint an asset tile there which is already set to solid. I'm probably barking up the wrong tree with that anyway,

I'm only a beginner like you. I'd defo be starting with the adventure game module though if thats the game you're making.

Hopefully you'll get a better answer from an expert soon.

Cool cool. I didn't have to do that with the scrolling platformer module, only for monsters. Good that you solved it though.
