Was messing around with pitch and noise... and just made a pack of 10 SFX's, they're all over the place...
-blow up big
-blow up small
-build up explosion
-laser
-level up
-race track countdown with a crowd
-race track countdown no crowd
-space ship filies off
-water splash
-zappa? (It's like a zap... sound... zappa... like lighting... it's cool, you'll like it... or be like "meh"...)

You can preview all 10 here: https://clyp.it/onvsnqxp
and download them above

These are so great! My favorites are Forsaken Ambition and the Generic Mystery one but they're all ace.

So you're happy for anyone to use your work if they credit you in the game titles? What about for commercial projects? I was just wondering how it worked usually.

I've seen a few commercial indie games created on nesmaker that are on kickstarter or selling as physical carts. I'm curious if the people in the credits are receiving anything financially from those projects usually? It seems like a lot of work to give away for free if its being sold as part of a game.

Maybe this is a subject for a different post. I've been offered music and sfx from another talented musician but I was reluctant to accept because if I ever got to the point of making physical carts to sell I wouldn't have a clue what the implications would be. Am I looking too deeply into this?

I think it varies from person to person... Me personally, these are all royalty free... I'm totally super lax about it... I'm doing this for fun and so far it's a blast :)

**EDIT!** These are Royalty Free! I don't expect anything if you use them, but if you do, let me know! I'd love to see them used.

Seeing them used would make my day.

Happy Memorial Day, New song added "Sneaky Sneak" https://clyp.it/c004duiq could be used as a simple title screen or a lull between battles screen... or as a chill item shop screen.... Really low key song... Simple. I was messing around with making an interesting beat... just liked how it turned out. I started including the famitracker file with the zip and not just the txt file.

You're a machine!

I'd like to use your music for my game if its definately ok? Some of your tracks would really suit the levels and mood im thinking of.

I'm going to attempt to put the ones I wan't into one txt file and attempring to learn the basics of famitracker along the way.

New song. Call it Boss BB... the bb stands for "build up"... so I guess it should have been BU?... But whatever... I imagine it's the screen just before a boss... But hey, you use your imagination!

You can listen to it here: https://clyp.it/sg11v5xf

And download the famitracker/export on the first post.

Awww! Thanks Mouse! And here's a new one!

So I don't know which version I like better... \
I made 2 separate versions of the same song. Ver 1 doesn't use Pulse Channel 2 so it won't affect sound effects. I am moving towards leaving channel 2 alone more so people can hear the music without it cutting off.

High Tech Kill Man!
Version 1: https://clyp.it/v0re5wmh
Version 2: https://clyp.it/ujrifbvw

You can download them in post one or below.

Both are good. The second one is more full though.Maybe mix the 2? Also on those last 2 notes especially on song 2, istead of dun dun dun, du dun , "du dun"... maybe just do..... dun dun dun,dun dun on the one instrument. Like leave em out so it matches up moreso at the end of each phrase or whatever.Throws me for a loop each time. Just a suggestion but fine as is fersure.

Yeah as for cutting out a channel because of a sound effect,i ended up sacking sound effects except for player death noiseand pause. Kind of sureal or something when playing i think. But it is sort of a downer because i love and remember so many good sound fx.

Another day another song! BOSS BATTLE in the SAND! At the beach... Or whatever... But hey, you can use it for whatever you want.

Listen to it here: https://clyp.it/yhio3i45
Download it below or on the first page.

I think I'm going to keep working on this one... Basically I feel like it's a good start, but there is more that could be done.
