platformer boss help

Post by rimoJO » Sat May 18, 2019 12:27 am

so, I don't really know how to code complex scripts, so maybe some help would be nice.
what i need is:
a jumping script
also, would there be any way for a monster to strategically swap between action steps?
thanks

I’d suggest to make it simple for your first game...
Moving, stoping, shorting, teleporting, ...
Check some old NESMaker videos on TheNew8bitHeroes YouTube channel for example.

i decided to just have a lot of actions on each of the seven action steps. after the attack, though, the boss keeps running around because the attacks are broken, but i'll come back to that sooner or later.
