I would like to start by saying that my following rant means no harm to the creator, and is not intended to be mean for the sake of being mean, it is clear that the creator @tbizzle Is not well experienced in game design and is working to improve, but I fell it is necessary to mention some of the many issues with this game...

Anyways Let me start by saying the games ups..

It has better level design than his last game Bowels Of The Beast (which yes has of and the capital even though grammatically incorrect) and the music is great, the story is slightly better explained and the graphics are also slightly improved, Not to say any of these are now good or even great, just better, the music is by far the most improved which is really something out of tbizzle's controls.

And now onto the criticisms...

First i feel it is important to say something in regards to the music because i feel it ended up being a "Dick move" (I know this is mostly unrelated to the game, but I feel its necessary to show his character) He had made a post to ask people for music, and then I believe hired a different musician to write music for the project after @LVintageNerd nerd and myself had composed multiple songs for the game already without informing us at all.

Now something based more on the actual game, sorry for getting off topic, The level design has one key philosophy which is CHUCK THE SAME 3 ENEMYS AT THE PLAYER WITH DIFFRENT RECOLORINGS without any room for player reaction, which I feel is pretty self explanatory on why it doesn't help the game, the entire game revolves around you being scared of moving, for it will unveil a random enemy from the side of the screen going 60 miles per hour in your direction trying to kill you, which unsurprisingly, isn't fun, and is just tedious and boring.

I should also mention the entire game is 3 levels, its not a demo the full game is 3 levels, their not long either, just tedious and boring, with a backwards ass difficulty curve. When you play a game you expect it to get harder as you play right, you expect FAIR challenge to increase over time, what makes games fun if achieving seemingly impossible tasks at first, but the key is for them to be FAIR, AND IT TO GET HARDER OVER TIME, this game dose the exact opposite, each level is around the same length, but level one has zero checkpoints, level two has one, and level 3 the third and final level has the easiest level design and 2 whole checkpoints.

Glitches and bugs...

While it is fine to have a few bugs and glitches when a game is released the amount of times I've died to thin air, no been able to shoot, and sometimes straight up just fell out of the map softlocking the game is incredible, I've yet to play a level trough to the end without dyeing due to random bugs. Including the worst offender the last ladder at the end, which will cause the game to go into the many unused banks of the game forcing you to restart the game at the end of it. Which is terrible.

My Conclusions...

In conclusion this game is definitely a sequel to Bowels Of The Beast, Its frustratingly hard, the weapon dosen't work properly when moving, the level design sucks it adds no real improvement for the series besides new art music and continuing the story, again I’m not trying to discourage you from game design, it is clear you are trying to improve, the game is still better than the first, I just feel it’s necessary to point out the mistakes made along the way, and your 42 I’m sure I don’t have to put my criticism in a format a 7 year old can understand.
Also choose a standardized text size for the in game “cutscenes” Seriously what the fu————

@Logana This game is meant to be speed ran. From the post above you were probably poking around and exploring like the game is supposed to be the Adventures of Link or something. No you can't do that in Assault!! On Planet Beezlbub. You will get your ass handed to you. Lace up your booties and make a run for it. The weapon is only secondary to clearing out an enemy, first and foremost you want to evade enemies and just keep on going. Yes you cannot run while shooting, you have to stop and take aim, Alabastard isn't Rambo, running full speed and one-arming a 50 cal. machine gun. You obviously are not good at video games in real-life. Stick to online Solitare and Chess if you want time to think about and plot your next move. Or if you want to dunk your little McNuggets into some real Beezlbub hot sauce!, then your welcome back, just learn to control and play the game as is it was meant to be played. Thank you for the feedback!

I see now you have no plan to improve in making games, and you have no care to get out of the loop you have set yourself in, doomed to repeat the same cycle, over and over again, barely improving over time, when their are clear flaws with a concept or game, not explaining control game mechanics, enemys or anything you point it out as if it’s a stylistical choice, as if you intentionally want to ruin your own projects.

I wouldn’t even compare this game to Rambo, let alone Megaman 2, Contra, Mario 3, games I’ve played loved and beaten, it’s not even a fourth as good or well designed. You clearly just don’t care, you may be 42 but you act like your 7, seriously I don’t understand how completely ass backwards you understand things, what that I would like to end with a quote from your own words slightly edited to fit this “You obviously are not good at game design”

You know what, I do believe that everyone can become good at something through practice, everyone has the chance to be good at something, the only things is they have to put in work, effort, thought, things you clearly don’t want to use and never will.

@Logana Ahhhhhh! Is someone jealous their music didn't make it onto Beezlbub??? I am making a adventure game too, so you can make the music for that one if you'd like? Or is your ego to bruised at this particular moment in time??? Poor baby.

Personally I couldn’t care less about the songs I made for the game, I’m more so thinking of @LVintageNerd in that regard since you never mentioned to him/her that you already had someone else.

also I would like to decline the offer. Thanks but no.

@Logana Is our relationship destroyed at this point??? Will you still do any music for me in the future??? I'm willing to bury the hatchet if you are. Peace Brother.

Not really, If I'm not busy with other projects at the moment, and im not trying to attack you, again all that was meant to help even if it was very critical, pointing out clear flaws you can fix.

@Logana Awesome man! Sorry if I offended you at all in this post or in the past in any way. You're always willing to make tunes for others and i think that is pretty fucking cool of you!

Speedrun I just did. This game took forever to make and so little time to play through. The Godz must be crazy!

Honetly, my opinion on the text is I thought it was a design flair, purposely chosen for purely style. I personally don't have any problems with it, and thought it gives a flavor to the game.

I like the text too, it's fun and unusual. As for the comments about playing the game a certain way and not exploring, I don't want to be negative but that's bad game design. I'm no expert but I do know that blaming the player for things being broken doesn't fix the issues, it just makes them more frustrating because you're basically saying it's their fault. You've got some really good feedback there.
