Animated Tiles

Have a thought on how NESmaker can be improved? We are a small team with limited means, but we'd love to hear your ideas!

Animated Tiles

I'm not an NES expert but when I look at the sprites in the PPU viewer, the tiles are animated.
The animated tiles in NESMaker isn't like that so I was wondering if it was possible to do that.
I think more assets can be used if it was this way.
Again, I'm not an NES expert so I don't know, I'm just curious.

I'm trying to think specifically what it is you mean as when I test my games and other people's games nothing animates in the PPU. I can only think you're referring to the Mapper 30 build of Troll Burner which has animated tiles as Mapper 30 does have support for them. That feature is planned for NESmaker but not currently implemented. Most people right now use monster sprites as placeholder animations to simulate animated tiles.

Eventually this will be in NESmaker in some fashion, just not yet.
