Hello everyone. Just decided to take the plunge and give nesMaker a shot. I have been collecting NES (and a few other consoles) for several years, and a handful of years ago decided to try my hand at NES programming. Most of my information came through NintendoAge and I had some success in making things happen. My background is in IT and have actually had some assembler programming experience (8086), though that was several years ago now. Either way I got hung up with background collisions at that time and moved on to other things (like grad school). Now that school is done I am ready to try again, and nesMaker looks like a great tool to assist. I will likely have some questions but am excited to try a couple small projects through the video tutorials and see how far it gets me.

Glad to have you here with us. With your ASM knowledge, you will have a lot of fun coding in NESMaker.
Can't wait to see what you will create :)
