i had a cool idea to blend 2 ideas together for a nes game but not sure if there are mods for jrpg/rpg for nesmaker yet. So when your character(s) is on the overworld you will have your basic final fantasy type setting where you walk and its random battles with magic, and melee, defend, run commands and when you enter a dungeon you get like a zelda 2 temple type deal. More or less an adventure platformer which turns into a metroid-vania type game. Wonder if something like this can be done the nes maker?

I combined the metroidvania module with the adventure module and it works great - but I also integrated animated tile, screenbytes, special tiles etc - a lot of stuff that can be found here on the forum. Maybe I can figure out how to export the module and then I could leave it for downloading.

Oh thats what's up. I just found my old nes games and such from when I was a kid so making them is going to be fun cause that was always a dream of the 80s for me. I have to check out some of these games then
