Hey folks,
my name is Ingo, I'm from Germany and Angel's Quest 3 is my first NESMaker game.
AQ3 will be a platformer like Super Mario Bros. since the first two installments of Angel's Quest were Romhacks of SMB1 that I made for my fiancée's birthday in 2017.
They included new sprites for the hero(ine), the enemies and level objects, 32 new levels, new sound effects, new music and slightly modified physics and projectiles.
(For those who want to take a closer look: https://youtu.be/ajwTBPkCJpo)
With NESMaker I finally won't be limited to the restrictions a romhack has to deal with and I'm excited to get started creating my very own game
I figured out how to use the platformer physics and movement, imported and animated some sprites of AQ2 and am getting deeper into NESMaker's powerful features, such like paths etc.
I already posted a mini video of my first two screens in the facebook group yesterday (https://www.facebook.com/groups/NESmakers/permalink/724980237856304/) and Joe asked me to use this forum as well to show my progress.
So here I am
