Start Screen Problems

Hello, While my game works perfectly in Mesen, any other emulator including the actual NES can't get past the start screen. I can play the game perfectly if I deactivate the Start screen but I can't seem to get it working. Any Ideas?

is the startgame.asm assigned to the start button in "start screen" mode and not "main game" ?

though i cant figure out why it would work on some emus and not on some... could be an emulator quirk

yes, it is, but the real issue is that I can't use it on an actual console with is the whole point of making a game with NESmaker

Do you have music set for your start screen?

Well, At one point I added some, but I changed it back to "No Music"

Try with a music if you have one...
Last week I think I had an issue on my start screen with the “no music” option (after having assigned one to my start screen).
