Just the HUD texted jammed into a Background special screen tile. Is that what its called? I dunno the little ones. I need to do this for a 8 x 8 cut scene. Couldn't use the full background tile I normally use. After thinking about it longer than I care to admit I realized the solution was super simple. You do have to make punctuation choices but easy to swap in what you need.
